Eclectus roratus
The female is bright red while the male is green. This large gum tree had the nest in the trunk inside a hollow (pics 4-5). Only found on in lowland rainforests of Cape York.

Neat :) I had hand-raised one of the males years ago. They are awesome birds!

I know, I was so glad they picked a tree with no leaves for their nest site.
