Anas superciliosa
Approximately 60cm in size, scalloped pattern to feathers all over in shades of brown, edged with white, white face stripes from beak to nape, black/dark brown cap & eye stripe, deep chestnut eyes, webbed feet, flat & specifically shaped beak for sifting mud and water borne sediments.
Found throughout much of Australia and is nomadic. This one in town park lands on creek bank.
