Uncommon to rare in the Rio Grande Valley. After looking all over the valley, an expert Butterfly hunter gave me a tip. Go to the drive-in-window of the local Burger King at sun-rise or sun-set and look for the old guamachil tree next door. He was right! We saw at least six.
