Little Brown Bat

Myotis lucifigus

The nearby habitat is farm fields inter mixed with wooded wetlands and a river about 1 mile west.

This bat has been living in my shed for Jul-Oct 2020. At one point there were 2 bats in the shed but only this one continually stays there most days. I have a bat house in the back of the property that was placed there soon after seeing this bat. Only once have I seen the bat house occupied by a single bat, as this bat seems to prefer my shed.
