Description:

Prolifically flowering large shrub/much branched small tree about 4m high. Flowers pink, densely clustered along the branches prior to leaf emergence.

Habitat:

Rocky mountainside adjacent to road at approx 500 m elevation.

Notes:

Great potential for a garden plant, but its use as such seems more accidental than deliberate.
