Thank you raeven, we humans should learn more about ants and bees, they are a lot better being politically correct and they show amazing examples of teamwork and strategies, I didn't knew about the aphid farm thing, that's awesome! Every second I love more the Nature :)

LOL ah, yes, I can see it now ... decorating for an elaborate cartoon festival :)
I'd been thinking more along the lines of building materials or using the decayed flowers for something or baiting some trap. Each time I learn about ants I'm amazed by their knack for forward thinking (like keeping herds of aphids safe and well fed to harvest the resulting secretions.)

I love that your image shows one of the flowers so clearly. Great stuff!

Obviously it does, even though it would be awesome the reason of picking them was to make cozy and decorate the place, they don't, they eat it. :)
