White-pupiled Scallop Moth

Anomis flava

Description:

Yellow and brown moth, about 1.5cm in body length. Anomis flava (Fabricius, 1775). Also called Cotton Looper, Tropical Anomis. The larvae reportedly feed on Hibiscus rosa-sinensis, a plant abundant in our backyard.

Habitat:

Spotted in the laundry area, near the backyard.
