Hypolimnas bolina
The Great Eggfly Butterfly, sometimes known as the Common Eggfly or the Blue Moon Butterfly, is a nymphalid butterfly with a wingspan of about 2.8 inches to 3.3 inches. The Great Eggfly Butterfly shows significant differences between the male and female members of its kind.
I found this while taking a walk through Seoul; however, the Great Eggfly Butterfly is commonly found in lightly wooded areas and deciduous forests.
It doesn't show that well in the picture, but the white spots had a slight bluish hue surrounding them, hence the name "Blue Moon Butterfly."
