Description:

Approximately 5 inches in mobile length. Yellow in color with sparce hairs and spots along the bottom.

Habitat:

Found next to a lake in a shaded area. Was next to some maple trees.

Notes:

Impressive size and somewhat regal. ;)

He was a little intimidating, but extremely interesting! We were gathering for a birthday party and he was right in harms way. We tried to deter him from our walking path, but he seemed to be on a mission.

I'm just getting into the wonderful world of caterpillars...but I'd be intimidated if I ran up on that chunker lol. Great pics!
