Thank you Larry. It often happens, once you know they exist you find them. It did happen to me when I saw the tortoise beetles in PN for the first time. Later I found several of them on the field.

I have had the lovely opportunity to see these egg cases on a few occasions. One, the spotting you saw on my page was one that I had followed from the morning I first noticed it (next to an area where I stand and water plants) which i think was laid earlier in the morning or that night. I continued to watch the case diligently during the next days with hopes of seeing what would hatch out of the case. I think your case is not predated at all. I think, based on my little anecdotal experience, is that there was a mass hatching which caused all the holes in the case. Followed by the case slowly disintegrating. Lovely spotting. Now that you have seen one your eyes will naturally be attracted to many more. Congrats on a great spotting Luis!

Myserious! Luis I got similar one hanging like a pendulam. Is this suspended?
