Small plant with a thin stem and distinctive, green, narrow leaves or petals.
Temperate forest. Rockwood Park, Virginia.
Karen, I am not sure. I did not break one to find out (did not want to damage the plant). The plant parts were, perhaps, a couple of inches...I am not totally certain. I should go back and look for the plant. I think I remember about where I saw it.
Are those leaves or pods? They look rather rounded to me. And do you recall how long they were...approximately?
