Wood Warbler; Mosquitero Silbador

Phylloscopus sibilatrix

Description:

Very difficult to separate from the Willow Warbler without hearing the voice, a front view shows a whiter breast and yellower throat in some Wood Warblers, which also have a stronger contrast between black and white on the folded wing feathers giving the appearance of black and white chevrons. Both species are passage migrants only in this area.

Habitat:

Coastal marshes.
