Daniel, This is a very cool photo. I've got a trail camera too and enjoy it very much. I think, however, that this is a barred owl and not a barn owl. You can see the difference between these two birds at:

The scientific name is Strix varia for the barred owl.
If you could edit your sighting that would be great. To edit, click on the "Edit this spotting" link in the upper right of the spotting page and then make changes. Include the scientific name as well. Again, this is a very nice spotting.
