Bontebok were once extensively killed as pests, and were reduced to a wild population of just 17 animals, but the species has since recovered.
Spot these two at Cape Point Nature Reserve.

My thoughts exactly Argy. I did not even know about that until I found it on Wikipedia. I wonder. Will see what I can find out on my next trip to Cape Point.
