Likely where there are lawn carpets and golf courses. Larvae damage.
Your welcome. Infestation in ON eh, hmmmm, I haven't seen too many. Maybe it's just up in your area, but I'll keep an eye out for them.

I'm not sure of the species but it's some kind of crane fly.
