Silene italica
Medium greyish perennial, sticky above. Leaves oval to elliptical, pointed, hairy, the basal ones in tufts and stalked. Flowers erect, white (occasionally with greenish veins), greenish or reddish beneath, in lax pyramidal panicles; petals deeply bilobed, inrolled during the day but opening fully in the evening, lobes rounded; calyx often purplish.
Rocky slopes, crevices and dry cultivated land.
