Description:

Glossy black with two white bands on the fore wings and bright crimson spots on the tailed hind wings. Wing span: 90-110 mm

Habitat:

Mainly in India and Sri Lanka

Notes:

This is a fresh one and it is his first day out of the pupa. That is why the colours are so bright.
