Celosia cristata
Celosia cristata is commonly known as cockscomb due to its flower looking like the head of a rooster. It is resistant to most diseases and grows well indoors. It is used frequently as an ornamental plant, but it's leaves and flowers are grown as food in India, Western Africa, and South America.
It can be found on almost all continents, with the exception being Antarctica.
