A common sight is this leaf beetle depositing a distinctive cluster of eggs on the succulent tips of eucalyptus.
When they are not doing this, they are mating
Thanks for your comments Kimkiu, Leanne and Yuko. I watched her rotating around the twig after depositing each egg, so as to position them at all angles. Quite fascinting.
