Fruit is a round to cone-shaped cluster, turning read when mature. Leaves are alternate, compound, egg-shaped to oblong, the center leaflet is stalked and sometimes 2 or 3 lobed.
Spotted at Tamarac NWR at the Chippewa Picnic area. Red raspberries are often found along hiking trails and roadsides.
The fruits are eaten by both birds and mammals.
