Elegant Golden Jumping Spider

Chrysilla volupe

Description:

Small jumping spider, with metallic black, blue and red patterns. This does not fit the pattern that I see completely in the pictures, leading me to believe its a subspecies or a different species entirely.

Habitat:

Urban settlement, close to small patches of jungle.

I thought so too ornithoptera80, however I checked Mark Ridgways suggestion and it's identical to C. volupe. Thanks for the help with the right id!

Great find, it is probably Chrysilla lauta, I also found one in India a couple of years ago.
