Spotting

Description:

Really neat bundle of brown mushrooms growing out of a cut bank (from a tree root), not sure which tree root it was coming from.. there were spruce, fir and scrub alder on top of hill. It has a very white bottom side, woody stem base so I assume it's some sort of polypore, but can't find it in my books. The underside has hollow columns, but the outer 1/3 inch had none, only smooth on edges.
