This appears to be a large snail. It is brown, and has lighter brown stripes on it's shell. The actual organism inside the shell is dark purple/brown and slimy. it moves slowly, and can be found around bushes, tall grass, and burrowed around trees.

This is an invasive snail.

this looks like the common garden snail here the philippines...
and a visitor( a priests from nigeria) told us that this is edible(but i didn't tried eating it)no one in our place eats this snail.
