Red segmented bristleworm

Perinereis amblyodonta

Description:

We were collecting empty seashells at Paraparaumu beach, and we took one wich had an unusual occupant: a bristleworm! As soon as we realised there was a living creature in there, we took the shell back to the sea, in south Raumati beach.
