I thought that this link might help you to see what bayucca's link isn't showing you. These are supposed to be up north of Mexico but still you're not too far from me (Texas) and I found one of these too.

You can compare these species with other sites like bugguide.net .... They may have these reported in Mexico.

Erebidae (Arctiidae), Arctiinae, Lithosiini (Lithosiinae), Cisthene tenuifascia. You have to check if this one is actually found in Mexico (what I guess might be the case).
