Ruby-throated hummingbird

Archilochus colubris

Description:

This little guy guarded My hummingbird feeder fiercely, not letting any other birds or flying insects near it. I identified this bird mostly by range, it is the only species that I've seen in my area.

Habitat:

Most of the hummingbirds I observed perched in trees on the edge of forests.
