Guereza

Colobus guereza

Description:

An Old world monkey, a black-and-white colobus, is also known as mantled guereza, the eastern black-and-white colobus, or the Abyssinian black-and-white colobus. As one of its names suggests, it has black and white mantle, with a long and fluffy white tail. Black and bare face, surrounded by white fur.

Habitat:

This guereza was met in Awasa town park - not a National Park nor any sort of protected area; simply a park, or rather a piece of nature left untouched on the outskirts of the town Awasa. This "park" is a forest, bordering the Awasa lake, full of wildflife, mainly birds.

Another great series Zlatan. What sad expressions they have. And then there's that tail - beautiful animals.
