I'm really thankful to Adarsha B S and to bayuca for their effort to ID this Blue Green Sharpshooter.

Good job Adarsha! But I was very sceptic about the ID, after checking your link. I do not know this site but the ID seems to be wrong on this site or Luis' sharpshooter. In my eyes they look completely different, other stripes, no yellow border, no black spots at the snout etc. I did a little re-search (first thought was also Graphocephala) and bingo! Here is your Graphocephala atropunctata which is now called Hordnia atropunctata! Check my link and compare with yours and bugguide and you would understand why I was sceptic. They look quite different (at least in my eyes).

Leafhopper, both of them and most probably not the same genus, might not even be the same family. The blue one is a sharpshooter, Cicadellinae.
