cempedak
Large fruits that grows off stems, branches and trunks of trees, the fruit can be big as 3 footballs and 3 to 5 feet long and heavy if large, the aroma can be over whelming. there are a few other fruits look similar but different in size and has it unique scent.
Forested areas in cool milt sunlit areas.
I beleive this fruit is called local here cempandak' the others are Jackfruit, nangka, Sukon and Durian, now Durian has a bad rap for its smell, it is banned on all airplanes, taxis and hotels, the smell is horrible like a dead animal, but the fruit inside is eaten.

This is either Artocarpus integer (cempedak) or Artocarpus heterophyllus (jackfruit). I can't tell without seeing more of the tree. In the meantime the species name could be "Artocarpus sp."
Nice.
