Description:

As indicated by the name it has white plumage. Looked to be around 2.5 feet tall with a wingspan of 3 feet. Black bill and legs with orange feet and orange coloring between base of bill and eyes.

Habitat:

The gulf side of the west end of Santa Rosa Island, FL, a barrier island off the Florida panhandle. Fine sand beaches with a few small areas of wetlands in the center.
