Description:

This delicate fungus had a broadly conical pale creamy-yellow cap about 25 mm wide. Cap centre was brown and fine flecks of brown scale covered the rest of the cap. The cuticle (cap skin) hung over the margin (pic 2). Gills were white and free. The stipe was delicate and the same colour as the cap. A fragile annulus could be seen on the upper third of the stipe. A very fine spore print obtained - cream coloured.

Habitat:

Growing in damp soil under gum trees in a reserve.
