Description:

Large spots on the breast and brownish wings indicate that the Starlings from the north have arrived for winter - daytime temperatures are still in the 80s (F) here. This was perched amongst the Spotless Starlings which have already lost their autumn spots.

Habitat:

Limestone outcrop in foothills of los Serranos mountains.
