Spotting

Description:

I know I spotted this weed already (earlier this month), but it's becoming more interesting so I really want to know what it is! After the little yellow flowers bloom, the flower stalk grows longer and longer, perpendicular to the leaf stalk. The flower stalk is also weird -- like made of links, sort of resembling twirled wire. Leaves are scalloped, reminiscent of wild lettuce in shape but smaller and more of a forest green.

Habitat:

Urban parking strip in a residential area.
