Thread-legged bug

Empicoris vagabundus

Description:

Very small (~10mm without legs), inconspicuous assassin bug (heteroptera), brown and cream pattern, raptorial front legs and curved rostrum. Looks like a gnat at rest.

Habitat:

Lives mainly in trees, feeds on aphids and other small insects.

Notes:

Found it on my bathroom floor, moving slowly (like stalking). Took it outside for photos and left it on the rose bushes.
