Forest Tent Caterpillar Moth - Hodges#7698

Description:

Gray and blue-striped caterpillar on a leaf (Tent Caterpillar?)

Habitat:

On the leaf of a plant growing along a path that winds through the woods leading to the Lake Emma Trail. Woodlands, about a block away from Annie Battle Lake and 1/2 a city block away from a creek

Notes:

I was thinking Tent Caterpillar but I remember reading there are a couple caterpillars that look similar so, am not sure.

You are correct. This is a species of Tent Caterpillar!
