Mediterranean Damselfish

Description:

Small fish that can grow up to a size of 25 cm in length. Photographed specimen was about 13 cm in lenght.

Habitat:

Native to the Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea and eastern Atlantic. It inhabits littoral, mainly in rocky areas from 2 to 40 metres in depth, in small shoals in midwater above or near rocky reefs and above sea-grass meadows.
