Yes, Adarsha, very confusing :(. T. ornata and T. arenosa are listed as North American species. There are a few Indian species mentioned, but adding to the confusion is the Paratettix genus. They also look like the Tetrix sp. Here's the database that I'm looking at: http://brim.nwipb.ac.cn/brim/grashopp/lo.... Perhaps for now, safe to say it is Family Tetrigidae (Pygmy Grasshopper), while further study is being made. I am also reviewing my spotting :)... Hope we get confirmation..
