Around 50 cm length with glossy black feathers and a white/green iris. Feeds on carrion. Call sounds like a deep "korr-korr-korrrrr"

Forest and bushland

Notes:

Often seen eating roadkill, these birds are very traffic-savvy, stepping aside to a minimal distance to avoid the danger of oncoming traffic.
