Hi chelsea, there are two different types of trees in your pictures. You will need to separate them into two different spottings. The first image looks like a species of Oak tree. I am not sure of the second picture.
The scientific name section is for the scientific name of the specific organism in the submission. If you don't know what it is, please leave it blank. If you don't know the species you can mark the little box (when editing) that says "Help me ID this species" and other people may be able to help with identifying it.
When you submit pictures of trees it is very helpful to get different angles and some closer details of bark, leaves and branches. It makes it easier for identification. Thank you for your understanding.
