The papaya, papaw, or pawpaw is the fruit of the plant Carica papaya, the sole species in the genus Carica of the plant family Caricaceae. It is native to the tropics of the Americas, perhaps from southern Mexico and neighboring Central America.

this papayas were actually harvest from Dole Philippines, a giant plantation of pineapples in South Cotabato. this photo was taken when we visited the place last April
It brings back the time we were in Hawaii and there was a supply that we could eat all we wanted. I had it 3 times a day.
