Leopard Slug eggs

Limax maximus

Description:

Small cluster of soft, jelly-like eggs. Transparent. See picture 4 for size comparison with my fingers. Leopard slugs are large slugs that have been introduced to North America. They have established themselves and can be found in great numbers in some areas. They are easily identified by their large size and distinctive spotting that resembles a leopards spots. This slug species patterning can be quite varied.

Habitat:

Suburban yard, under some yard debris.

Notes:

They eventually will grow to look like this: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/115...
