Also known as Common or Brown frog. About 10 cm long, with short legs and robust body. Light green-brown, with darker brown stripes on legs, and dark brown triangular-shaped patch behind the eye. Snout pointed.
In deciduous forest bordering the river Valserine, and very close to some stagnating water.
