Asian Painted Frog

Description:

aka Banded bullfrog... it is a native to Southeast Asia in the microhylid (narrow-mouthed frog) family. they have round bodies with mahogany brown backs and cream stomachs. the distinctive stripes down the side can range from copper-brown to salmon pink.!

Habitat:

its the Northeast Monsoon season now in Malaysia (October to March)... and these frogs are coming out after burying themselves in the ground during the dry season... found this one in my garden within a suburban residential area.!
