Sharp-shinned Hawk

Accipiter striatus

Description:

The bird was slightly bigger that a football. It had a orange and white striped chest, a small grey head, and huge black eyes. The back of this bird was gray with white splotches. The birds talons were very sharp.

Habitat:

This bird was found in our backyard early in the morning. It was sitting peacefully on the pole.

Notes:

This bird may not be what was suggested but it defiantly is beautiful!
