Treehoppers

Aconophora compressa (brown one) & Archasia sp. (green one)

Description:

Two different species of Treehoppers together on a branch. There were no other treehoppers on the plant.

Habitat:

Wooded area semi-urban area on the outskirts of the city, 2,200 meters.

Thank you Jason for your help. The brown one seems to be Aconophora compressa (same treehopper as in previous spotting: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/161...) and the green one an Archasia sp. The genus Archasia seems to need revision.

Nice!

Looks like Guayaquila/Aconophora/Calloconophora (the brown thorn-shaped ones...hard to tell which genus!) and perhaps Archasia sp. (the green)
