Medium sized mushroom. Growing in small groups or singly. White stem, caps, white on margins of fresh mushrooms, light brown centers. Older mushrooms seem to become more brown. Some growing with cracks in the caps. Fairly heavily gilled undersides with attachment to the stem. Fairly firm texture.
Suburban lawn.
I really like the gills on these mushrooms.

I agree . It is all about gills in this one!
Forest Dragon.seems a little similar to what I spotted . However I found that the gills were more orangish.
