This is the main area where they take different levels yearly, so it is a continuing education. The Master Naturalists of Texas, have volunteer to help with trails, hikes, etc. This trip we were making a trail guide. It is located at: http://www.everytrail.com/guide/lewisvil...
I introduced the co-ordinator to the Project Noah education section as a way to do a database study on how the 'hoppers' are doing on the restored prairie. Lots of fun volunteer activities.

The school district created this habitat area?! That's wonderful! Outdoor learning area, indeed! Standing applause for the forward thinking of your school district! :-)
