Philippine Eagle is our National Bird also known as Monkey-Eating Eagle. This one is not in wildlife, but I hope it's okay to post this picture. I took this picture in a zoo in Bohol. This bird is considered endangered here in Philippines.

Not a Philippine eagle...looking at the legs, looks like some species of hawk eagle...could be a Philippine hawk eagle...

You're welcome and thanks as well. Yeah, it's sad that people keep on hunting this beautiful bird. I hope our government do something with this matter, although I know there's some programs that protects our wildlife, but still the hunting goes on.

thanks for posting our national birds..!but its sad some of local natives from mindanao still hunting this birds because of thier belief...!hope they will learn the importance of the philippine eagle now....!
