Drosera auriculata

Description:

Delicate carnivorous plants growing close to the ground. Leaves along the upper part of the stem are disc or kidney shaped and have long hairs with glandular tips. Pale mauve flowers are five-petalled.

Habitat:

Open woodlands - eucalypt forest.

What a dilemma for this plant. It wants to capture and consume some and it wants to attract then release others. Gotta love nature.
