Blue and black damselfly in males, female can be brown or blue and black. In male S8-9 blue
Lakes, ponds, open marshes, slow streams, margins of rivers as long as some emergent vegetation is present. Prefers newly created wetlands.
I spotted this male Familiar bluet in my garden. I have a koi pond, two lotus pools and several frog pools
